Fellow, American Academy of Implant Dentistry

Dr. Senan Najar is a board-certified implant dentist (Diplomate, American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry—ABOI/ID), a distinction recognized as the highest credential in oral implantology. He brings a rare combination of advanced restorative and orthodontic training to implant education, holding a Master of Science in Dentistry in Operative Dentistry from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Specialized Orthodontics from Münster, Germany.
Dr. Najar’s clinical focus is comprehensive, implant-driven rehabilitation—ranging from single-tooth replacements to full-arch reconstruction—grounded in prosthetically driven planning, risk management, and interdisciplinary execution. His orthodontic expertise adds a powerful dimension to implant case design, including occlusal analysis, space management, and staged sequencing, helping clinicians treat more complex cases with greater predictability.
Dr. Najar, with 23 years of experience, has served as a member and Head of Clinical Research at the Texas Institute of Oral Implantology and previously taught as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Operative Dentistry at Indiana University and as a faculty member for implantology continuums in Washington AGD. He is also an elected officer for the AAID Western District and the Mount Baker District Dental Society.
As Program Director of the Seattle AAID MaxiCourse, Dr. Najar leads a 300+ hour, comprehensive, case-based curriculum built to take dentists from foundational principles to confident clinical application. Participants can expect a structured blend of evidence-based seminars, hands-on surgical and prosthetic training, and mentored treatment planning, with a strong emphasis on diagnosis, CBCT-guided decision-making, surgical protocols, restorative workflows, and the avoidance/management of complications. Seattle MaxiCourse program also includes cadaver-based anatomy, surgical skill development, and formal preparation for the AAID Associate Fellow/Associate Fellow examinations, providing a clear pathway for professional growth and credentialing.
Dr. Najar is known for translating advanced concepts into repeatable systems—so clinicians leave with practical protocols they can implement immediately to deliver safer, more predictable implant care in everyday practice.
