Dr. Purnima Sheoran is a practicing dentist, educator, and leader in implant dentistry. She is the Owner and Founder of Mai Dental Care in Santa Maria, California, where her clinical practice is primarily focused on comprehensive implant rehabilitation and advanced restorative care. With a strong commitment to excellence in diagnostics, treatment planning, and surgical precision, Dr. Sheoran is recognized for delivering predictable, patient-centered implant outcomes.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Implantology (ABOI/ID) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID)—credentials that reflect her advanced expertise, dedication to continued learning, and contribution to the field of implant dentistry.
Dr. Sheoran actively serves the profession through organized dentistry and leadership roles. She is currently the President-Elect of the Central Coast Dental Society and also serves as a District Officer for the AAID Western District, supporting education, collaboration, and professional growth among implant dentists.
Passionate about teaching and mentorship, Dr. Sheoran is a Faculty Member at the 3D Implant Institute, serving both the Dallas AAID MaxiCourse and the Tijuana Surgical Course, where she trains dentists in modern implant workflows, surgical fundamentals, and evidence-based treatment planning.
Her mission as an educator is to bridge the gap between theory and clinical execution, empowering dentists to practice implant dentistry with confidence and predictability.

- Associate Fellow (AFAAID): Completion of this course fulfills the 300-hour educational requirement to sit for the AAID Associate Fellow examination.
- Preparation: We dedicate specific course time to reviewing for the Part 1 (Written) and Part 2 (Oral) examinations, giving our participants a distinct advantage.

Disclaimer: A self instruction online aspect is included in the program. Participants will need loupes, laptops and note-taking materials.
Registration Fee: Fee includes tuition, registration, handouts, materials, breakfast, coffee, lunch for most full-day courses, and other amenities involved in making this a pleasant learning experience.
